Shopping Tourette's
1. Inability to refrain from going shopping. 2. Making random purchases while shopping.

I’m pretty sure I have Shopping Tourette’s Syndrome. It’s like I completely lose my mind and make the most ridiculous shopping choices.

Shopping Tics, if you will.

I was at Kohl’s last week. This is a major Shopping Tourette’s Syndrome shopping place for me. Same with Costco.

...

You need to know that I hate shopping. Truly. Which makes my Shopping Tourette’s Syndrome even more disturbing.

And don't get me started on pensioners in supermarkets. I get shopping tourettes and start swearing at em. I think there's an unwritten law, that when you retire, you suddenly develop the urge to leave your trolley in the middle of the aisle, or strike up a conversation with Elsie and Brenda about how the price of bingo's gone up, right in front of the shelves where people are trying to get stuff from.

I wish there was a way to stop all useless posts in this thread (this post isn't useless because its a great suggestion) and only have it update when games are restocked or up again, I really don't feel like reading 8208018 posts in the future about people's shopping tourettes to find out of DMC or DD or Tekken Tag will be in stock soon.

You wont get this game hopefully? Don't you have control over what games you do and don't get? Is there really hoping involved?

Lol I was wondering the same thing. Maybe he has shopping tourettes?

But, no. It seems I have developed a form of shopping Tourettes, whereby I am no longer able to walk past any store, but find myself impulsively propelled in against my will. Before I even know it I have instinctively shoved my poor, battered bank card into yet another chip and pin machine and gathered up yet another large bag of shopping that my rational self knows I neither want nor need.

In other news.....

My shopping tourettes acted up yesterday when I was at baby gap and I came home with a cute outfit for Violet.

Sigh.

I have a scary combination of shopping tourettes and loss of memory. Thank goodness someone posted the link to the last deal so I could see that I ALREADY BOUGHT THIS. Honestly, I need to put. the computer. down.

Ah!... You have Shopping Tourettes just like me! I won't go shopping for months, and then all of a sudden I will just go nuts and blow a ton of money. At least the stuff that you bought has good use. :)

What I don't understand is why we all buy enough food to feed a small country and spend hours queuing in supermarket aisles waiting for a free checkout when these days the shops are only closed for one day. Anyone would think that there was a law saying that we were all banned from further food shopping for a month. Yet, year after year, there we all are - planning a meal with sufficient food to feed an army. If you think about it all Christmas dinner is is a Sunday roast with hats! Every year, I vow not to go so mad but every year there I am with the piled high trolley - I can't help myself - its like food shopping tourettes!!
